Position Summary: Aetna Resources LLC, a CVS Health company, is hiring for the following role in Woonsocket, RI: Manager, Software QA Engineering to develop and execute software tests for quality assurance to ensure proper implementation of information technology projects. Duties include: serve as the technical and functional subject matter expert on integrated applications and end to end testing; design test plans, scripts, and procedures and document software defects using bug tracking systems; ensure implementation of defined Quality Assurance (QA) processes and manage project execution to ensure adherence to schedule and scope; responsible for project oversight including planning, design, implementation, execution, and evaluation; identify efficiency improvements across the team and recommend new QA technologies including automation tools; participate in product design reviews to provide input on functional requirements in leadership meetings and project discussions, and contribute to strategic planning and execution of QA management tasks; confer with project personnel to identify and resolve problems; monitor progress milestones and deliverables; support applications, systems, and databases used to process prescriptions, claims, and related healthcare activities; collaborate with cross-functional teams on applications development, technical requirements, code review, project deliverables, quality assurance, and software development best practices; and mentor junior team members. Telecommuting available. Multiple positions. - Requirements: Bachelor's degree (or foreign equivalent) in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, Information Technology, Electronic Engineering, Engineering, Technology Management, or a related field, and five (5) years of progressive, post-baccalaureate experience in the job offered or related occupation. Requires five (5) years of experience in each of the following: Software development life cycle (SDLC); Software testing including manual database testing, automation, preparing test strategies, test script development, test execution and defect management; Relational database concepts including Oracle and SQL; Constructing complex SQL Queries; Web services and API testing; Testing tools, including Selenium (TestNG, Maven and Selenium Web Driver), and JMeter/SOAP UI; and Mercury/HP tools: Quality Center or Jira. Pay Range: $113006.00/year to $180000.00/year.
