We want everyone who works at CVS Health to feel empowered by the role they play in transforming our culture and accelerating our ability to innovate and deliver solutions to make health care more personal, convenient and affordable. *Position Summary:* This position will support the Commercial Pharmacy Actuarial team.  The core responsibility of this role will be to support pharmacy strategy and pricing analysis as well as to evaluate the impact of upcoming regulatory changes on the business. This is a role connects pharmacy expertise with actuarial principles related to commercial health plan risk and pricing. This position is responsible for supporting initiatives and analyses related to forecasting, formulary strategy and pricing, measuring clinical programs, and assessing drug and class-specific initiatives. Also responsible for pharmacy analytics evaluating emerging results, trend drivers, drug pipeline, and drug trends. Functions include: - Working collaboratively across actuarial and pharmacy teams. - Streamlining processes by identifying and implementing best practices. - Designing and completing rating factor studies to support rate filings. - Supporting implementation of rating factors into pricing systems. - Performing ad hoc analyses and deep dives to identify and resolve issues. - Estimating and tracking the financial impact of initiatives. - Participating in the actuarial help desk to answer questions on pharmacy pricing. - Modeling formulary changes. - Forecasting and modeling. - Supporting data and analysis underlying the trends and overall performance of Commercial Pharmacy. #AetnaActuary *Required Qualifications* - Bachelor's degree along w/1.5+ years of actuarial and/or analytical experience utilizing communication, technical, analytical and financial skills - Experience working in Microsoft Excel - Ability to think creatively and use multiple data sources to assess and develop business strategies. - Ability to collaborate with experts from other teams to better understand environmental issues/drivers and how/why the impact may differ by line of business. - Experience working with large and detailed data sets.   *Preferred Qualifications* - Health Actuarial experience is desirable - Experience with SQL - Coding experience - Ability to effectively manage multiple priorities. - Solid communication skills across a technical and non-technical audience *Education* - Bachelor's degree *Pay Range* The typical pay range for this role is: $43,700.00 - $117,400.00This pay range represents the base hourly rate or base annual full-time salary for all positions in the job grade within which this position falls.  The actual base salary offer will depend on a variety of factors including experience, education, geography and other relevant factors.  This position is eligible for a CVS Health bonus, commission or short-term incentive program in addition to the base pay range listed above.    In addition to your compensation, enjoy the rewards of an organization that puts our heart into caring for our colleagues and our communities.  The Company offers a full range of medical, dental, and vision benefits.  Eligible employees may enroll in the Company's 401(k) retirement savings plan, and an Employee Stock Purchase Plan is also available for eligible employees.  The Company provides a fully-paid term life insurance plan to eligible employees, and short-term and long term disability benefits.
