We want everyone who works at CVS Health to feel empowered by the role they play in transforming our culture and accelerating our ability to innovate and deliver solutions to make health care more personal, convenient and affordable. *Position Summary* The Senior Technician Prior Auth & Appeals will work a rotating call schedule throughout the day to support Clinical Services Representative I, II, and III with complex non-clinical or Prior Authorization questions or calls. Responsibilities include assisting supervisors with day to day tactical issues, handling escalated calls, training, coaching and other business needs. The ideal candidate will promote a positive working environment and initiates suggestions to continually improve processes; assists supervisors with standardization of procedures, coaching, training, and dissemination of information to staff; act as a subject matter expert in processes, procedures and products; communicate clearly and accurately when interacting with all levels of employees, plan participants, account managers and partners; manage escalated and more advanced Prior Authorization issues when needed; answer questions and recommend corrective action to address complaints; handle special projects and assignments as designated by the supervisor and/or manager. CPhT, PTCB, Customer Service, Pharmacy Technician, Mail Order, Specialty, CVS, Mail, Insurance Verification, Processing Technician *Required Qualifications* Must have at least 1 year in CVS Prior Authorization Department Required Pharmacy Technician License Required *Preferred Qualifications* Superior PC skills in Windows based applications Excellent verbal and written communication skills Superior soft skills Ability to work in a high-paced work environment Ability to work in a team environment Requires flexibility to work various shifts between 8 am and 8 pm Superior PA knowledge with excellent quality Ability to positively deal with changes and promote a positive work environment Basic math skills Ability to maintain confidentiality Must have excellent attendance & schedule adherence *Education* A verifiable High School diploma/GED and TX Pharmacy Tech license are required. *Pay Range* The typical pay range for this role is: $0.00 - $0.00This pay range represents the base hourly rate or base annual full-time salary for all positions in the job grade within which this position falls.  The actual base salary offer will depend on a variety of factors including experience, education, geography and other relevant factors.  This position is eligible for a CVS Health bonus, commission or short-term incentive program in addition to the base pay range listed above.    In addition to your compensation, enjoy the rewards of an organization that puts our heart into caring for our colleagues and our communities.  The Company offers a full range of medical, dental, and vision benefits.  Eligible employees may enroll in the Company's 401(k) retirement savings plan, and an Employee Stock Purchase Plan is also available for eligible employees.  The Company provides a fully-paid term life insurance plan to eligible employees, and short-term and long term disability benefits.
