We want everyone who works at CVS Health to feel empowered by the role they play in transforming our culture and accelerating our ability to innovate and deliver solutions to make health care more personal, convenient and affordable. *Position Summary* The Senior Analyst role on the Health Plan Adherence Solutions team under the Retail Pharmacy Growth organization will be part of a cross-functional group focused on the development, enhancement, and management of adherence products that can be packaged and sold to Health Plans as ways to improve and maintain their Adherence Stars ratings and bring in revenue to Retail Pharmacy. This team leads the opportunity identification, business case development, testing and incubation, and eventual product and P&L management of the capabilities launched. Specifically, the Senior Analyst will lead the team's health plan data ETL processes using Python and SQL, becoming a subject matter expert on adherence program data, uncovering actionable opportunities to drive improved adherence by using all of CVS Pharmacy's data, and serving as a detective in finding root causes to adherence program issues when they present. The day-to-day experience of the role will vary from loading data from health plans to digging into adherence program data to understand the success rates of outreach efforts, and helping with the transition from Teradata to Snowflake. The Senior Analyst is expected to be able effectively communicate their work and provide clear recommendations based on their deep data findings. This position requires demonstrated experience in using SQL and Python to manage and transform large, complex datasets. Strong collaboration skills are necessary as the work will often be cross-functional with program owners and IT. The ideal candidate will have strong communication and public speaking skills, experience with Tableau, and be proficient with Excel. In addition, the individual must be able to independently construct analyses that will help answer open-ended questions. *Required Qualifications* 3 years work experience 2 years SQL coding experience 2 years Python coding experience *Preferred Qualifications* * Demonstrated experience working with SQL, Python, and Snowflake * Experience with extract, transform, and load (ETL) processes * Familiarity with data visualization tools such as Tableau * Knowledge of advanced functions in Excel * Comfortable with presenting complex data and findings to a variety of technical and non-technical audiences * Strong ability to turn data into insights, followed by insights into recommendations * Ability to diagnose complex problems, seek insights beyond the immediately obvious, and recommend practical solutions * Analytical, quantitative, and problem-solving skills * Have a strong understanding of health services and retail pharmacy product development * Have an in-depth knowledge on health systems and health services, as well as health economics, epidemiology, and data management * Ability to communicate effectively in a manner that is clear, logical, and consistent * Ability to manage multiple tasks simultaneously, adjusting priorities as needed to meet deadlines * Ability to demonstrate teamwork and collaboration skillsets across a variety of business units and personality types * Knowledge of CVS Health's retail pharmacy business and organization processes * Subject matter expertise in clinical and operational aspects of the retail pharmacy business * Strong verbal and written communication skills * Strong attention to detail and strong organizational and prioritization skills *Education* Required: Bachelors *Pay Range* The typical pay range for this role is: $43,700.00 - $107,200.00This pay range represents the base hourly rate or base annual full-time salary for all positions in the job grade within which this position falls.  The actual base salary offer will depend on a variety of factors including experience, education, geography and other relevant factors.  This position is eligible for a CVS Health bonus, commission or short-term incentive program in addition to the base pay range listed above.    In addition to your compensation, enjoy the rewards of an organization that puts our heart into caring for our colleagues and our communities.  The Company offers a full range of medical, dental, and vision benefits.  Eligible employees may enroll in the Company's 401(k) retirement savings plan, and an Employee Stock Purchase Plan is also available for eligible employees.  The Company provides a fully-paid term life insurance plan to eligible employees, and short-term and long term disability benefits.
