The Medical Collections Supervisor for Specialty will be responsible for all unbilled charges associated with multiple Payer Groups. This includes managing billing reports and understanding the reasons as to why charges are unbilled, submitting all charges to the payer accurately and timely, performing root cause analysis, identifying any problem areas/trends and implementing solutions to drive unbilled reduction, ensuring Key Performance Indicators (KPI) are met. The Supervisor will supervise a team of colleagues, ensuring billers/collectors are meeting production and quality goals. Role Overview * Work Hours: 9:00AM-5:00PM EST (Flex Schedule after training) * Training: 6-8 weeks of training in Medical Collections and Supervisor responsibilities. * Hybrid Role: One day a month onsite at the Monroeville office or as needed (Subject to change depending on business needs.) *What you will do* * Daily review and management of all unbilled and associated Accounts Receivable revenue within your Payer Group(s) to ensure department KPI's are met. * Experience with reporting including, trending, forecasting, for both unbilled and accounts receivable charges. * Effectively collaborating with internal and external business partners including Payer Relations, Benefits Verification and Pharmacy * Operations teams to educate, discuss and resolve payer issues * Oversees day to day employee metrics, including 1:1 meetings and scorecards * Provides research on accounts receivable/billing issues * Supervision of daily reporting, production and workflow * Monitor and minimize any bad debt or account adjustments to ensure accuracy and within account receivables guidelines * Recruiting and maintain staff necessary to achieve key metrics * Provides functional advice and training to team members as needed * Responsible for various administrative duties such as payroll, timesheet review, interviews, disciplinary notices, performance reviews, staff pay rate recommendations, and resolving personnel matters. * Knowledge of healthcare insurance billing * Other duties as deemed necessary *Required Qualifications* * 2-3 years of Healthcare Reimbursement insurance experience. * Team Lead or Trainer experience * Must have strong knowledge of billing and healthcare claim issues. * Must be within a 1 hour commute to the Monroeville, PA office. *Preferred Qualifications* * Experience with leadership and having direct reports. *Education* * High School Diploma/GED required *Pay Range* The typical pay range for this role is: $40,600.00 - $85,100.00This pay range represents the base hourly rate or base annual full-time salary for all positions in the job grade within which this position falls.  The actual base salary offer will depend on a variety of factors including experience, education, geography and other relevant factors.  This position is eligible for a CVS Health bonus, commission or short-term incentive program in addition to the base pay range listed above.    In addition to your compensation, enjoy the rewards of an organization that puts our heart into caring for our colleagues and our communities.  The Company offers a full range of medical, dental, and vision benefits.  Eligible employees may enroll in the Company's 401(k) retirement savings plan, and an Employee Stock Purchase Plan is also available for eligible employees.  The Company provides a fully-paid term life insurance plan to eligible employees, and short-term and long term disability benefits.
