Cheshire Medical Center/Dartmouth-Hitchcock Keene seeks Physician Assistants to join their Hospital Medicine team.

The Acute Care Physician Assistant will be responsible for the night shift, with their primary responsibilities being the admission and ongoing care of hospitalized patients in the Intensive Care Unit (ICU). They will be trained in critical care procedures such as central lines, intubations, and more. Additionally, they will respond to Rapid Response and Code Blue situations and provide critical care consultations as needed. During peak times, the APP will collaborate with Emergency and Hospital Medicine physicians. They will work with tele-ICU Critical Care Medicine physicians, and the on-call critical care physician will also be available as a resource to the PA whenever needed.

This position is comprised of eleven 12-hour shifts per month, which will be considered full-time with full time benefits.

  • Critical care or Emergency Medicine experience as a provider is strongly preferred
  • Inpatient experience as a provider required
  • Eligible for licensure in the State of New Hampshire.
  • Eligible for Federal DEA Registration.
  • Graduate of an accredited PA program
  • NCCPA certification
