Description: 1.0 FTE Instructional Coach/MTSS Coordinator at Dena'ina Elementary school
Job Summary: The Role of the Instructional Coach/MTSS Coordinator is to assist the Principal in guiding instruction that maximes learning for all students. This includes helping to coordinate schedules of students and staff members for delivery of instruction, coaching staff on instructional practices, reviewing data for individual students to coordinate instruction, and as a whole school. Help to facilitate data-dialogue meetings whether they are stand-alone meetings, or a part of the PLC Team Time Process. Help to deliver Professional Learning to and with staff. Coordinate and lead MTSS meetings. Work directly with the regular ed and special education departments on coordination of instruction.
Qualifications: Bachelor's Degree and an Alaska Type A Teaching Certificate. Knowledge of MTSS, Tiered Instruction, Alaska Reads Act, Science of Reading, and Ready Math/Ready Reading Preferred. Ability to meet Alaska Reads Act requirements.
