The Highlights: Under the direction of Academic Affairs leadership, the Academic Program & Systems Administrator serves as primary administrator for the online course evaluation system and also coordinates other university-wide processes for the academic enterprise including the online course management system for new and revised curriculum (CIM) as well as activity-based processes like Academic Program Review.  For all of these processes, the Academic Program & Systems Administrator will serve as the point-person for communications: responding to questions and select data requests; offering guidance to faculty and staff from across the university; logistics; and managing online infrastructure. In addition, the Academic Program & Systems Coordinator assists with gathering information in preparation for dean reviews, Higher Learning Commission accreditation reviews, and additional projects for Academic Affairs as needed.
 

What You'll Do:

  •  Course Evaluation System Administration:
    - Serve as the primary internal system administrator for eXplorance Blue, overseeing the Online Teaching Evaluation Process.
    - Configure the quarterly evaluation system, including managing communication flows with key stakeholders.
    - Address faculty and department inquiries regarding logistics and specifics of administering course evaluations, as well as report access.
    - Participate in committee meetings related to system governance.
    - Coordinate with the vendor to resolve technical and logistical issues, ensuring timely resolution of internal support tickets.
  • Academic Program Review (APR) Support:
    - Assist the Director of Academic Program Review (APR) in guiding multiple self-study teams through the stages of the two-year APR process. Provide guidance and support to academic self-study teams in the creation and execution of surveys, focus groups, and result compilation. 
    - Collaborate with the Office of Institutional Research and Market Analytics and other units for institutional research efforts.
    - Manage and maintain the public APR website and the secure SharePoint site for Academic Program Review Committee members. Provide logistical support for APR-related activities and events.
  • Higher Learning Commission (HLC) Accreditation Support:
    - Support the Associate Provost for Student Success and Accreditation in collecting data and preparing evidence files for accreditation review.
    - Assist with logistical aspects of HLC-related processes, including coordinating campus visits.
  • Course Leaf Curriculum Inventory Management System:
    - Act as the system administrator for the Course Leaf Curriculum Inventory Management System (CIM), ensuring accurate and up-to-date system functionality.
    - Oversee annual updates to CIM User Provisioning and CIM Role Management.
    - Manage the CIM Program and Course workflow processes, making updates as necessary.
  • Other Duties as Assigned 
     
What You'll Need:
  • Bachelor's degree required.
  • Minimum two years of experience, preferably in the higher education.
  • Experience learning new technology and systems.
  • Strong planning, organizational, problem solving, diplomatic, and decision-making skills.
  • Ability to be a self-starter and operate independently.
  • Ability to work collaboratively and cooperatively with a variety of faclty and staff committees and task forces as well as the ability to work independently on a variety of projects.
  • Excellent writing and communication skills.
  • Experience with Microsoft Office products, including SharePoint and Excel.
  • Ability to use pertinent data packages including Tableau and Qualtrics.
  • Experience in data visualization.
  • Familiarity with the higher education environment.
  The anticipated hiring range for this position is: $47,783.00 to $55,000.00 per year.  The salary range provided in this posting reflects what we reasonably expect to pay for this position. Actual compensation offered or earned is dependent on experience, education and other factors including departmental budget.
