Description

The Highlights: Under general supervision, works primarily in the Oracle Cloud enterprise application. Builds and develops application tables, panels, and reports. Configures individual modules and moderately complex functions. Designs and develops some aspects of data conversion. Troubleshoots and resolves testing issues. Competent to work on most modules of Oracle Cloud, but requires instruction and guidance from senior staff.  Also serves as a subject matter expert associated with content, processes, and procedures associated with business processes and applications that integrate with Oracle Cloud.  Applies functional knowledge to the design and customization of workflow systems. Writes functional requirements, develops test plans, and works with production issues. 


What You'll Do:

Responsible for supporting most Oracle Cloud modules - configurations, reports and interfaces, security, testing and user training. Create and maintain system/application documentation. Utilize knowledge of business processes/functions to research, troubleshoot and resolve production issues. 

Learn business functions effectively in order to provide expertise on new application releases and new functionality in modules. Advise users on options, risks, and any impacts on other processes or systems. Act as mentor for associate level developers

 Partner with HR, Payroll, and Finance to identify and implement new features and improvements. Configure Oracle Cloud to meet functional requirements and document application set-ups.

 Partner with Cloud admins for upgrades/patches for impacts to functionality.

Improve knowledge in best practices and new technologies for use with functional area goals and objectives. 

 

What You'll Need:

 
  • Bachelor's Degree is preferred. Preferred field of study in Computer Science or equivalent.
  • 3-5 years experience working on most Oracle's Cloud-based HCM and/or ERP modules
  • Experience in requirements gathering, design, development, and testing of Oracle Cloud applications. 
  • Experience supporting some combination of Oracle HCM and ERP applications such as: Recruiting, Talent Management, Benefits, Payroll, Purchasing, General Ledger, Accounts Payable, Project Contracts modules.
  • Higher education industry experience desirable.
  • Experience with BI reporting technologies, Oracle Business Intelligence. 
  • Experience with cloud security and workflows is desirable. 
  • Excellent planning, organizing and project management skills.
  • Ability to work independently, manage multiple projects, and recommend industry-best practices based on business requirements.
  • Good communication skills, both written and verbal with the ability to articulate information in both technical and non-technical verbiage.
  • Ability to take part in cross-functional discussions to analyze requirements and recommend solutions.
  • May require extended hours including weekends or evenings.  Discretion and sensitivity to confidential information is required.
