Our community is looking for a Dining Room Hostess to join our team.  

Hostess Responsibilities

  • Welcome guests to the dining room
  • Provide accurate wait times and monitor waiting lists
  • Manage reservations
  • Escort customers to assigned dining table
  • Provide menus and announce Waiter/Waitress's name
  • Greet customers upon their departure
  • Coordinate with wait staff about available seating options
  • Maintain a clean hostess area
  • Cater to guests who require extra attention 
  • Assist wait staff as needed

Qualifications:

  • Previous work experience as a Host/Hostess or Waiter/Waitress (preferred)
  • Understanding of restaurant etiquette
  • Demonstrable customer-service skills
  • Strong organizational skills with the ability to monitor the entire dining area
  • Availability to work in shifts as needed
  • Good physical condition to walk and stand during an entire shift
  • High school diploma
  • Must enjoy working with seniors
  • Ability to interact with guests, residents and staff in a courteous and friendly manner
  • Ability to respond promptly to resident needs
  • Ability to balance team and individual responsibilities
  • Ability to work flexible hours as needed
