Description
Manages the execution of Dollar General design/branding programs which encompasses all corporate communications messages and initiatives including, but not limited to: Field Leadership events and app design, Golf Classic, Development and Training programs, Recruiting Advertisement, Diversity and Inclusion, Employee Resource Groups, DGme content and image editing. Key responsibilities include developing production schedules, overall design work and working cross?functionally to develop branded programs (including HR, Merchandising, Operations, IT, Finance, Corporate Events and Community Initiatives), ensuring compliance with Dollar General brand standards and managing design tools.
Job Responsibility
• Conceptualize and design artwork for employee communications and external media, including multimedia, digital display systems, DGme, organization?wide rollout materials, branding, media ads, e?newsletters, and photography. (50%)
• Lead and manage all design and production logistics, including calendar development, timelines, and materials to ensure all internal and external partners remain informed and projects stay on?track. (25%)
• Serve as liaison between Corporate Communications and other departments to execute defined programs in accordance with brand standards. Departments include HR, IT, Finance, Corporate Events, Operations, Merchandising, and Community Initiatives. (10%)
• Partner with internal functions for ideation, execution, and design implementation including graphic concepting, photography, layout and design, and proofing. (10%)
• Maintain internal creative calendar and perform content audits/analysis to ensure messages are consistently impactful and innovate as needed. (5%)
Job Qualifications
• Expertise in content management, creative design, art design, and production including pre?press and print production methods and processes.
• Detail?oriented with strong organizational and communication skills, both verbal and written.
• Strong art design skills with illustrative and conceptual strengths.
• Competent in both Apple and Microsoft formats including Adobe Creative Suite (Photoshop, Illustrator, InDesign, Acrobat Pro) and Microsoft Suite; basic knowledge of video editing software.
• Knowledge of digital display systems (Scala preferred) and HTML.
• Exceptional organizational skills with the ability to prioritize, produce, and manage multiple projects under short deadlines.
• Ability to develop and manage relationships with internal departments, agencies, and service providers to deliver excellent work.
• Experience in writing and proofing collateral, ad, and web copy.
Education/Experience
Bachelor's or associate degree or 3–5 years of experience in graphic concepting and design. Experience in creating short?form video is a plus.
