Job Details:Responsible for building competence and confidence in DG retail employees through personalized, scalable learning that fits within the flow of work, engages employees, and efficiently improves operational outcomes. Directs the strategy, design, implementation, and management of the retail learning ecosystem.
- Continually analyze, identify, and prioritize the current and future learning needs of retail employees
- Develop the strategies for a learning ecosystem that effectively solves the learning needs of retail employees
- Support the development and implementation of the programs, processes, resources, interventions, activities, etc. across the learning ecosystem
- Measure the effectiveness and impact of the components of the learning ecosystem in order to continuously improve the strategy and execution
- Consistently invest in the personalized development of each team member and nurture a culture of development throughout the team
- Partner with peers and business leaders to support organizational initiatives
- Build and maintain knowledge and vendor relationships related to learning and development trends and methods as well as industry trends and practices
· Influential leadership style with the ability to serve as a steward of Dollar General's commitment to growth and development.
· Demonstrated ability to produce desired results by leveraging resources, while maintaining effective expense control.

· Perform basic PC applications, including, but not limited to, Word, Excel, Access, Power Point, Outlook, etc.

· Seven (+) years' experience in leadership training or related Human Resources field.
· Bachelor's degree with three (+) years retail training experience; equivalent education and experience combination would be considered.
Note: This position requires travel and overnight stays; a valid driver's license and acceptable driving history is required.
