Job Summary:

Reporting to the Executive Vice President, the Director, Philanthropy Operations and Prospect Management, advances the development effort by managing the integrity of the Foundation's donor records in Raiser's Edge and corresponding hard copy files. The Director is responsible for assuring accuracy, completeness and confidentiality of all information through the development of policies and procedures. He/she manages all aspects of the gift acknowledgement process, ensuring appropriate accuracy and timeliness. Also assists in input, output and reporting in support of annual fund, direct mail, special events, and special projects. This position is responsible for all aspects of the prospect management process.

Job Essentials: The ideal candidate will meet the following requirements and competencies.

  • Must be proficient on Raiser's Edge database with a minimum of five years' hands-on experience.
  • Must be proficient in Microsoft Word and Excel.
  • Experience in developing, implementing and maintaining prospect management systems/moves management activities/reporting required.
  • Ability to provide direction and supervision to staff in the orderly, appropriate and efficient usage of Raiser's Edge.
  • Excellent organizational skills
  • Strong verbal and written communication skills
  • Ability to communicate effectively and interact with donors, other external constituencies and all levels of Medical Center community

Education Requirements: Bachelor's degree required; Master's degree preferred.
