As a Support Engineer you will provide level 2 support for IT equipment and services across the health system. In this role a premium is put on customer service and ultimately customer satisfaction by providing timely, accurate, and professional support. A successful candidate will excel in a fast paced team environment, and possess excellent communication skills while having a high degree of aptitude over a large scope of IT software, hardware, and networking disciplines.
Job Essentials: The ideal candidate will meet the following requirements and competencies.
- Windows OS and Citrix Zendesktop deployment and support
- User hardware/software/peripheral support
- LAN troubleshooting and support
- Systems administration
- Hardware procurement and asset management
- Creating and maintaining documentation
- Mentoring and handling escalations from junior technicians
- Proficient in planning and estimating the work effort, proactive escalation for help, delivering projects on time, good organization and communication skills
- Availability to work beyond normal business hours and participate in on call rotation
- 1 year of relevant experience is required.
