Job Summary:
The Senior Therapist is an experienced, proficient, acute care and/or outpatient clinician who performs all duties of a staff therapist as well as functioning as a mentor to other clinicians. This position also assists in the development and implementation of clinical programs, performance improvement programs and other professional duties established in the Rehabilitation Medicine Department. The Senior Therapist carries out special projects as required, under the supervision of the Rehabilitation Supervisor and/or Administrative Director.

Job Essentials:
- Demonstrated leadership and supervisory abilities.
- Effective communication skills.
- Minimum four years acute care/out-patient experience.
- Ability to use proper body mechanics in all aspects of patient care and treatment (i.e., lifting, moving heavy equipment and transferring patient)
Education Requirements:
- Speech Pathology: Graduate of an accredited Master's degree curriculum in Speech Pathology or its equivalent in course work.
- Physical Therapy: Master's or Bachelor's Degree in Physical Therapy
- Occupational Therapy: Master's or Bachelor's Degree in Occupational Therapy
Licensure/Registration/Certification:
- Speech Pathology: New Jersey State Licensure in Speech Pathology
- Physical Therapy: New Jersey State Licensure in Physical Therapy
- Occupational Therapy: Successful passage of the National Registration

The rate of pay for each position will be determined based on a variety of factors including the candidate's relevant experience, qualifications, skills, etc. The minimum rate does not include bonuses/incentives, differential pay or other forms of compensation.
