Senior Director, Client Success

Locations: New York, NY, Boston, MA| Hybrid

The Leader of Client Success will oversee a team of Client Success Managers in The Americas, serving clients in our investment management Market Unit, ensuring our customers achieve measurable business outcomes while maximizing their return on investment in Advent and Eze solutions. This leader will set the vision, strategy, and operational rigor for client success, embedding a proactive, consultative approach across the team. You will be accountable for customer loyalty, expansion, and renewal performance within your portfolio, while strengthening executive-level relationships across our client base.

What You Will Get To Do: 

Strategic Leadership

  • Define and execute the Client Success strategy for the Investment Management segment.
  • Align team objectives with corporate growth, retention, and client experience goals.
  • Serve as an executive sponsor for key strategic accounts.

Team Leadership & Development

  • Lead, coach, and develop a high-performing team of Client Success Managers.
  • Establish clear performance metrics tied to retention, expansion, client satisfaction, and adoption.
  • Foster a culture of accountability, consultative engagement, and continuous improvement.

Client Value & Advisory

  • Ensure the team operates as trusted advisors, bringing forward SS&C Advent's most innovative capabilities and aligning them to client business priorities.
  • Guide clients in optimizing front-, middle-, and back-office workflows through best practices and transformational process improvements, most notably through our flagship Genesis Platform, Eze OMS and RealTick products, along with our Operational Services.
  • Elevate conversations to the C-suite, positioning SS&C as a strategic partner and finding opportunities to co-create new value

Growth & Retention

  • Drive industry-leading renewal rates and identify opportunities for expansion within existing accounts.
  • Partner closely with Sales, Product, and Services to deliver coordinated account strategies.
  • Leverage data and health metrics to proactively manage risk and identify growth signals.

Operational Excellence

  • Standardize success planning, account governance, and engagement models.
  • Implement scalable processes to support a growing and evolving client base.
  • Provide voice-of-customer insights to influence product innovation and service enhancements.

What You Will Bring: 

  • Deep understanding of the Investment Management industry (asset managers, wealth managers, RIAs, institutional investors).
  • Proven experience leading Customer/Client Success, Relationship Management, or Account Management teams within financial technology or investment services.
  • Strong executive presence with the ability to influence senior stakeholders.
  • Track record of driving measurable retention, expansion, and client satisfaction outcomes.
  • Strategic thinker with operational discipline and data-driven decision-making skills.
  • Willingness to roll up their sleeves and personally manage client relationships, in addition to leadership
  • Experience leading hybrid or geographically distributed teams.
  • Willingness to travel – 35%

Salary is determined by various factors including, but not limited to, relevant work experience, job related knowledge, skills, abilities, business needs, and geographic regions. NY: Salary range for the position: 160000 USD to 180000 USD.
