To support our extraordinary teams who build great products and contribute to our growth, we're looking to add a Buyer Indirect. located in Guadalajara, North Campus.

Reporting to the Commodity Manager Indirect, this role involves working on coordinating activities involved with procuring indirect materials.

What a typical day looks like:

• Procurement of non-standard materials on a ERP system ( aQuire basis)
• Ongoing and close participation with cross-functional teams, the global IP team and the Flex GBS team.
• Processing the requests received in the ERP system (acquire) within 48 hours, sending out the request for proposal.
• Compare the offers and select the best one - Cost and Quality.
• Interpreting contracts, dealing with the legal department representative and cross-functional areas, arranging signatures and ensuring mailing.
• Managing the recruitment of suppliers.
• Tracking goods from procurement to receipt.
• Overall management of global projects, knowledge of KPI's and drive to meet them.
• Agile participation in English language conference calls, meetings, representing the IP team.
• Constant liaison with suppliers and peers.
• Knowledge of and compliance with the procurement processes defined in the integrated management system.
• Requesting, documenting and interpretation of safety data sheets.
• Handling and processing of Titan and AP.
• Preparation and recording of reports.

The experience we're looking to add to our team:

• Previous experience negotiating with suppliers.
• BA/BS degree.
• Previous experience in MRO Commodity such as OEM, spare parts and/ or minor equipment.
• Advanced English level.
• Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Office (Excel, PowerPoint, etc)
• Experience with ERP systems such as BAAN and SAP.
• Supply chain, purchasing and material knowledge is a plus.
