Job SummaryTo support our extraordinary teams who build great products and contribute to our growth, we're looking to add a Clinic Doctor Manager located in Guadalajara, North Campus.
In this role you will be responsible for ensure timely and appropriate provision of general medical and emergency care, the implementation of preventive medicine campaigns, and compliance with the epidemiological surveillance program for personnel occupationally exposed to workplace hazards, in coordination with the Environmental Health and Safety (EHS) team.
Define and supervise the activities and responsibilities of the department's team, managing complex activities to ensure the efficient administration of occupational health and industrial hygiene programs across all areas of the company, while guaranteeing compliance with applicable legal requirements.
What a typical day looks like:
- Manage the administrative and operational activities of Occupational Health Services.
- Ensure compliance with all legal and regulatory requirements related to occupational health and industrial hygiene.
- Ensure the proper completion, maintenance, and safeguarding of all records, equipment, and programs related to Occupational Health Services.
- Manage the resources, programs, and services required to evaluate employee health status in compliance with regulatory standards.
- Collaborate closely with Industrial Safety and Environmental departments.
- Oversee medical operations and all departmental resources to develop occupational health programs and services, providing subject‑matter expertise.
- Supervise and ensure support for accident investigation processes, including root cause analysis of incidents.
- Ensure the delivery of direct patient care, case management, and primary care for both occupational and non‑occupational illnesses and injuries.
- Conduct health risk assessments and health surveillance of the employee population.
- Provide indirect supervision of health services personnel and ensure compliance with occupational health standards and preventive health programs.
- Make decisions that may directly impact employee health and manage sensitive employee health information and company data with confidentiality.
- Define, monitor, and track Occupational Health KPIs.
- Lead and manage the Ergonomics Program for all campus areas.
- Manage the completion, handling, and safekeeping of documentation related to work‑related injuries reported to IMSS and prepare the annual occupational risk premium declaration.
- Deliver presentations containing technical information related to specific projects and programs.
- Manage the Occupational Health budget, including labor, equipment, and material costs.
- Train teams on updates to policies and procedures.
- Implement strategies and actions to recruit and retain qualified personnel and foster motivation and engagement within work teams.
The experience we're looking to add to our team:
• Medical Doctor degree with valid professional license.
• Master's degree in occupational health.
• Minimum of 10 years of experience in Medical Services coordination and/or EHS management positions within manufacturing or related industries.
• Certification in Ergonomics and Industrial Hygiene, or proven experience implementing and operating programs in both areas.
• Knowledge of trauma patient care plans, including PHTLS (Prehospital Trauma Life Support) and ACLS (Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support).
• Advanced level of English proficiency.
• Certified Lead Auditor ISO 45001:2018.
• Familiarity with the preparation of the annual occupational risk premium declaration submitted to the IMSS.
• Experience delivering executive‑level presentations.
• Proven people management experience.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office tools and software applications related to occupational health and industrial hygiene.
