Job Summary

To support our extraordinary teams who build great products and contribute to our growth, we're looking to add a Junior Engineer – Manufacturing Engineering in Chennai, India.

What a typical day looks like:

  • Design fixtures for PCBA manufacturing and PCB panel array design.
  • Create SOPs for product manufacturing and provide support to manufacturing facilities to improve efficiency.
  • Support Cycle time estimation study and NRE estimation (NRE) estimation for Request for Quote (RFQ) preparation.
  • Create Process Failure Mode Effect Analysis for New product.
  • Aptitude to work with a multi-functional team to define requirements and suitable metrics for the performance of new products and process.

The experience we're looking to add to our team:

  • Bachelor's degree – ECE / EEE / Mechanical with 0 – 2 years of experience in manufacturing industry preferably in EMS Industry.
  • Should have extensive knowledge of IPC standards and the ability to understand customer specifications from manufacturing instructions and assembly drawings.
  • Hands-on experience with 3DCAD software products including SolidWorks, Cre-O, Inventor, and so on.
  • Knowledge & direct experience in NPI operations and manufacturing engineering.
  • Able to perform root cause analysis and resolve problems.
  • Experience with Continuous Process Improvement, Kanban and Lean manufacturing principals.
  • Flexibility and adaptability to work in a dynamic startup environment.
  • Work with other engineering team members to improve existing design or Process.
  • Knowledge of MS office and MS outlook.
  • Excellent written and oral communication skills MANDATORY.
  • Good analytical skills.
  • Reporting & Decision-making skills.
  • Should be open for shifts.
