Job SummaryTo support our extraordinary teams who build great products and contribute to our growth, we're looking to add a Process Engineering Manager located in Guadalajara, North Campus.
Reporting to the Sr Process Engineering Manager, this role will be responsible for lead a team of process engineers to deliver operational activities on the production floor, overseeing soldering, conformal and polymerics topics along with client meetings, KPI analysis and reporting in order to improve process engineering capabilities to support a specific area of a manufacturing organization.
What a typical day looks like:
- Manage a team of engineers and technicians to establish and maintain statistical process control systems.
- Establish and improve process capabilities.
- Develop and maintain process documentation.
- Manage development projects that are designed to meet customer product specifications, delivery, and cost expectations.
- Work with other engineering team members to design new products that can be manufactured.
- Improve throughput in constrained areas.
- Develop, test, and implement new materials and processes for improved performance and/or lower cost and manage cost reduction efforts in assigned process areas.
- Partner with other engineering team members to design new products that can be manufactured.
- Coordinate initiatives to increase throughput, reduce costs and improve performance in constrained areas.
- Implement appropriate HR strategies and actions to recruit and retain a qualified and motivated workforce.
The experience we're looking to add to our team:
- Bachelor's degree in engineering in electronics, mechatronics or related.
- Solid experience in similar role with strong leadership skills.
- Knowledge in polymerics and related processes: Underfill, Stacking, Conformal will be an advantage.
- Core tools; 5 why's, 4Q, PDCA.
- Advanced Excel; Power BI desirable.
- Advanced English communication.
- Knowledge in automation; basic experience working with automation providers to bring improvements to the integration process will be a plus.
