The Programming Engineering Technician (Support) will be based in Guadalajara North.

Here are some examples of the activities you will be doing:

• Database maintenance and administration.
• Executing updates for the HOTSPOT application.
• Providing technical support for the application.
• Developing tools and implementing continuous improvements.
• Process optimization.
• Generating and automating operational reports.
• Monitoring and resolving incidents related to databases and web applications.
• Developing and improving front-end and back-end functionalities.
• Implementing continuous improvements to existing systems and tools.
• Managing and maintaining servers related to the department's applications.
• Documenting processes, developments, and changes made to the app.

Essential skills for the role:

• Degree in Computer Engineering, Computer Systems, Information Technology, or a related field.
• Knowledge of programming and software development.
• Experience with the C++ programming language.
• Knowledge and handling of Apache.
• Experience with MySQL database administration and querying.
• Knowledge of server administration and maintenance.
• Ability to analyze and interpret data.
• Experience in web page development and maintenance.
• Knowledge of front-end and back-end technologies.
• Problem-solving skills and ability to handle technical incidents.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office software.
• Availability to work the 1st shift.
• 100% on-site work arrangement.
• Availability to work Monday through Saturday, with Sundays off.
