Job SummaryTo support our extraordinary teams who build great products and contribute to our growth, we're looking to add a Project Manager located in Guadalajara, North.
Reporting to the Government Affairs Manager, the Project Manager will provide strategic and execution support to the Industrial Engineering organization, leading projects related to capacity growth, footprint strategy, and manufacturing space optimization across Guadalajara and Mexico.
What a typical day looks like:
- Manage projects related to manufacturing growth, capacity expansion, and site footprint strategy to meet performance indicators (cost, delivery, quality, and scalability).
- Define and manage project schedules, financial parameters, scope, and technical requirements from project initiation through execution and formal transfer.
- Develop integrated project packages (business case, capacity analysis, space utilization, risks, timelines) to support leadership decision-making.
- Support Industrial Engineering in defining the DNA of operations by campus, plant, and building, identifying where it makes sense to locate or expand specific operations based on capacity, space, and business unit needs.
- Coordinate multiple manufacturing sites across Mexico to ensure standardized approaches to growth, ramp-up, and space utilization.
- Assess manufacturing floor layouts, space constraints, and operational flows to enable efficient and scalable solutions.
- Communicate customer and internal requirements, specifications, schedules, and budget constraints to cross-functional teams including Industrial Engineering, Operations, Facilities, Finance, and Senior Leadership.
- Review production and project schedules, identify problem areas, and assess root causes.
- Develop and maintain project plans, documentation, procedures, and deliverables.
- Generate regular project status reports,.
The experience we're looking to add to our team:
- BA/BS or equivalent work experience
- Proven experience managing projects in manufacturing or industrial environments.
- Strong knowledge of manufacturing operations, layouts, and operational flows.
- Solid experience applying Lean Manufacturing principles.
- Advanced project planning and execution skills.
- Advanced English level (written and verbal).
- Exposure to footprint strategy, capacity planning, or site expansion projects
- Microsoft Office: Advanced Excel and PowerPoint (executive-level presentations).
- MS Project: Advanced.
- Nice to have: AutoCAD, SolidWorks.
