To support our extraordinary teams who build great products and contribute to our growth, we're looking to add a Quality Auditor located in Salt Lake City, UT,

Reporting to the Quality Manager/Supervisor the Quality Auditor role involves performing inspection and quality check reports.

What a typical day looks like:

• Ensures accurate data collection.
• Conducts internal audits following regulatory, industry and internal quality guidelines including ISO.
• Conducts process audits and follow up closure of open audits.
• Helps department in the root cause analysis and corrective actions of audits findings, tracking to resolution.
• Initiates product/process improvements.
• Helps filing of audits and maintenance of records.
• Monitors and report metrics to meet business needs.
• Prepares reject reports by identifying necessary information for follow up and analyzes rejects/defects for patterns of process errors or other areas of concern.
• Provides immediate feedback to production areas concerning process deviations.
• May be required to facilitate Quality Alert meetings.
• May provide process training

The experience we're looking to add to our team:

• Ability to add, subtract, multiply and divide in all units of measure, using whole numbers, common fractions and decimals.
• Ability to compute rate, ratio and percent and to draw and interpret bar graphs.
• Ability to apply common sense understanding to carry out detailed but uninvolved written or oral instructions.
• Ability to deal with problems involving a few concrete variables in standardized situations.
• Typically requires an understanding of basic inspection techniques.
• Demonstrates functional skills.
• Requires basic competency related to function.
• Demonstrates basic functional process knowledge and participates in process.
• Has awareness of Flex techniques.
• Use of the following skills/tools may be required: Electronic Assembly: color code, component, schematics, touch-up, commercial soldering, mechanical assembly, surface mount assembly, point to point wiring; Inspection: bare board, loaded, components, cable/harness, microscope, measuring tools; Mechanical & Electrical Tools: measuring tools; Office Skills: data entry, spreadsheet (PC), software. Typically requires data entry skills
• Ability to read and comprehend simple instructions, short correspondence and memos.
• Ability to write simple correspondence.
• Ability to effectively present information in one-on-one and small group situations to customers, clients and other employees of the organization
