In our R&D plant in Stuttgart Germany, approximately 200 associates work every day to ensure that our West-European Automotive Customers are well-supported by technology in product categories such as DCDC Converters, ECUs, Internal/External lighting appliances.

For our expanding R&D team, we are currently looking for a

Test Software Development Engineer

Here is a glimpse of what you'll do:

  • Technical responsibility for the design, planning and realization of complex test software and test execution for automotive electrification ECU and DC/DC converter applications
  • Collaboration with the customer and design team to understand the product and the product test requirements
  • Evaluation of different product interfaces and operating systems
  • Development of environments based on specific test needs and of complex test programs in C#, CAPL, and/or Labview
  • Development of the “Restbus Simulation” for software integration testing
  • Project timing monitoring, supervision and coordination, evaluation and documentation of test results
  • Design & Development support for failure analysis and regression testing

Here is some of what you'll need:

  • Engineering degree in electrical / mechanical / mechatronic engineering or informatics with electronics / mechanics / mechatronics background
  • Minimum 5 years' experience from the automotive industry,
  • Ability to develop models for simulation of simple/complex components or subsystems
  • Awareness of latest test equipment and instruments from National Instruments Test, Measurement, and Control Solutions and/or VECTOR ECU testing tools
  • Technical skills and understanding of test principles and practice in the areas of speciality
  • Fluent German and English knowledge both in written and spoken form
