Job Summary

Flex intends to spin off its Cloud and Power Infrastructure segment into a new, independent publicly traded company, which we're calling SpinCo, until the name is unveiled. The spin is planned for Q1 2027. If the intended spin occurs, this role will support SpinCo, which will focus on critical digital infrastructure, delivering end-to-end power and thermal management solutions for AI data centers and other mission-critical applications.

To support our extraordinary teams who build great products and contribute to our growth, we're looking to add a Sr. Process Engineering Manager located in Guadalajara, North Campus.

Reporting to Sr Director, Mechanical Engineering, the Sr. Process Engineering Manager, is responsible for managing a team of process engineers working on improving process engineering capabilities to support a specific area of a manufacturing organization.

What a typical day looks like:

  • Manage a team of engineers and technicians to establish and maintain statistical process control systems. 
  • Establish and improve process capabilities. 
  • Develop and maintain process documentation. 
  • Manage development projects that are designed to meet customer product specifications, delivery, and cost expectations. 
  • Work with other engineering team members to design new products that can be manufactured. 
  • Improve throughput in constrained areas. 
  • Develop, test, and implement new materials and processes for improved performance and/or lower cost and manage cost reduction efforts in assigned process areas. 
  • Partner with other engineering team members to design new products that can be manufactured. 
  • Coordinate initiatives to increase throughput, reduce cost and improve performance in constrained areas. 
  • Implement appropriate HR strategies and actions to recruit and retain a qualified and motivated workforce. 

The experience we're looking to add to our team (required):

  • Engineering degree or bachelor's degree or equivalent work experience.
  • Knowledge of metalworking processes is mandatory.
  • Previous experience in similar roles
  • English advanced
  • Experience in Production Line Balancing
  • Broad manufacturing engineering knowledge
  • Program Execution Excellence
  • Product Industrialization Expertise
  • Customer-Facing Leadership
  • Experience in Final Assembly Line Balancing
  • Expertise influencing product design decisions that improve:
