Job Summary

To support our extraordinary Flex- Capability Acceleration Program (CAP) team, who help develop technical training programs and contribute to our employees' knowledge & Company's business growth, we're looking to add a Training Manager located in Guadalajara.

Reporting to the Sr. Director Quality, this Training Manager role involves overseeing, developing, reviewing, and evaluating training and development processes and procedures to ensure that training programs and initiatives are in line with corporate policies and programs, prior to employee assignments and monitoring of training progress.

What a typical day looks like:

  • Partner with subject matter experts and supervisors to conduct annual Training Needs Analysis and update the company training plan.
  • Design and develop training programs using recognized methodologies, in functional areas based on businesses coming into Flex. This would be a coordinated effort with Subject Matter Experts (SMEs).
  • Use data to evaluate training effectiveness and identify improvement opportunities. Manage follow-up action plans.
  • Review and develop Training and Development procedures.
  • Ensure good relationship and communication with management & site teams, ensure all training programs match the requirements of organization and work.
  • Implement training plan, monitor and take actions to keep it on track, and report the progress monthly
  • Regularly review the existing training program with Subject Matter Experts (SMEs) to ensure continuous improvement of the training, systems, processes, and the overall program, to stay updated and relevant to current business needs.
  • Select appropriate instructional procedures or methods such as unipersonal training, group instruction, self-study, lectures, demonstrations, simulation exercises, role play, and computer-based training.
  • Organize and develop reference library, multimedia visual aids, and other educational materials to attract end user to learn and enroll in the training programs.
  • Plan and release marketing communications as needed internally (to help penetration) and externally marketing).
  • May need to participate (accordingly prepare presentation material) in external events for awards / recognitions.

The experience we're looking to add to our team:

• Bachelor's degree; MBA preferred

• Experience working with global teams.

• Flexible availability for working hours.

• Minimum 7 years of experience in Training and development, preferably in manufacturing.

• Strong program management and problem-solving skills.

• Advanced proficiency in MS Office.

• Understanding of system architecture and training methodologies.

• Excellent collaboration and communication skills.

• Ability to learn and adopt with fast execution.
