FSA Federal (FSA) is focused on delivering unsurpassed services in support of law enforcement and homeland security. We currently have a vacancy for a Human Capital Associate (HCA). The HCA will be responsible for providing excellent customer service to the Human Capital Management (HCM) department. This is a fast-paced, high-volume position and perfect for a self-starter.
Essential job functions include, but are not limited to:
- Monitors shared mailboxes and phone lines for possible HCM actions
- Runs/reviews reports daily
- Data entry in ADP Vantage and Costpoint
Post-employment activities:
- Processes data changes in Human Resources Information System (HRIS) and financial system (Costpoint)
- Administers eI-9 verification process
- Processes unemployment claims in a timely manner
- Works collaboratively with the HR Business Partner (HRBP) team to off-board terminated employees, to include collecting and reviewing exit information and surveys
- Supports Random Drug Testing Program
- Coordinates with Office of Personnel Management (OPM) Investigators
- Assists with the implementation, administration, and reporting of HCM surveys
- Maintains employee files and stores relevant documents

Requirements
Requirements:
- Associate degree in Human Resources preferred; or High School/GED and a minimum of 2 years human resources administration experience
- A minimum of 1 years' progressive experience in human resources administration
- Familiarity with federal, state, and local employment laws such as FLSA, EEO, etc.
- Demonstrates a high level of customer service and confidentiality
- Accurate data entry skills
- Strong attention to detail and problem-solving skills
- Strong oral and written communication skills, including the ability to communicate appropriately with stakeholders at all levels
- Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail, with the ability to multi-task and prioritize critical items
- Ability to work under pressure and meet tight deadlines
- Intermediate MS Office skills
Preferred Qualifications:
- Experience in a high-volume position supporting an organization of 1,000+ employees
- Member of Society for Human Resources Management (SHRM) highly encouraged
- Understanding of Government contracting
- Experience with an HRIS, ATS, or similar database, preferably ADP Vantage and/or ADP Recruiting Management
- Advanced Excel skills (xlookup and pivot tables a plus)
- Familiarity with Costpoint and Deltek T&E
- Knowledge of human resources, labor relations, benefits, organizational development, industrial psychology, talent acquisition, and/or business administration
