As a member of our Print Services team, you'll be providing both publishing and clerical support for the Gonzaga Community. You will be responsible for assisting students, faculty/staff and the general public by offering superior customer service and extensive support and the creation of specialty projects. You will be trained in and utilizing multiple software programs to assist with the completion of projects/requests.

The budgeted annual salary that the University reasonably expects to offer for this position is $40,108 annually. The full internal range is $38,154-51,620annually.

Essential Functions

  • ​Utilizing many desktop publishing and graphics software options, create and print handouts, brochures, booklets, business cards, letterhead, flyers, cards, newsletters, mass mailings, etc. as requested.
  • Complete all design and printing of projects.
  • Perform complex tasks utilizing many software packages to prepare charts, graphs, and other necessary materials.
  • Operates digital presses and other office equipment as necessary.
  • Operates a FIERY processor necessary for the digital printing.
  • ​Print electronic and manual class handouts for faculty with confidentiality.
  • Prepare each project for appropriate printer and electronically complete all finishing as requested.
  • Compose and prepare general materials for accurate output.
  • Operates high speed printing equipment for large volume production.
  • Maintains and completes minor repairs of equipment as necessary.
  • ​Maintains filing system and documentation for work assignments.
  • Utilize software program to bill all work by codes for each service and generate month end billing.
  • Responsible for accuracy of departmental billing codes and codes for each service offered.
  • ​Operates color printer for envelopes only.
  • Must utilize electronic options of software and adjust accordingly for different envelope sizes.
  • Operates a FIERY to match color to other projects printed.
  • ​Operates an electronic scanner with scantron grading software to grade exams for professors.
  • Extracts and generates reports for faculty and students utilizing this software.
  • Ensures scantron sheets are filled out accurately and completely.


Other Functions

  • Maintains records utilizing software and supply inventories.
  • May be called upon to assist other Auxiliary Enterprise functions as required.
  • Additional duties as required.


Minimum Qualifications

​Utilization of WORD, Excel, Publisher, Powerpoint, Adobe InDesign and Acrobat Pro required
