The Level II Surgical Technologist assists the CAP Care Coordinator and the CAP Educator to maintain instrumentation. He/she is also responsible for cleaning and handling instruments following standard policies while maintaining updated records. This position requires 24 hours, 7 days a week accountability.
Education, Knowledge, Skills and Abilities Required:
1. High School diploma, general equivalency diploma (GED), and/or GED equivalent programs.
2. Graduate of an accredited Surgical Technologist Program or appropriate training program.
3. Proficient in two services (e.g. Neurology, Urology, Ortho, etc.) and precept in one.
4. A minimum of two years experience as a surgical technologist.
