We seek a highly motivated and analytical Data Scientist Intern to join our Retail Operations Analytical Team. The candidate will work with our Data Scientist team on projects that involve creating ML models, interactive dashboards, and inference analysis.

Duties and Responsibilities

• Collaborate with cross-functional analytical teams to solve the business problems.
• Develop/Enhance data visualization in our BI ecosystem        
• Partner with our Data Scientist in developing ML and AI models      
• Analyze data sets for trends/segments and outliers to help drive operational efficiency and process predictability

• Decision making:  Provides data for decision support, Provides consultation or expert advice
• Travel:  Up to 5%
• Flex Designation:  Anywhere

• Bachelors' Degree in Business, Finance, Data Science, Math, Information Systems or a related field

• 2+ years analytics experience in retail or Technology
• Proficient in Python Data science packages
• Advanced SQL & data wrangling experience
• Tableau/BI tools advanced proficiency.

• Currently pursuing a Bachelor's or Master's degree in Data Science, Computer Science, Statistics, Mathematics, or a related field.
• GCP/AWS/Azure knowledge
• Skilled in Python/Pyspark/ML ecosystem
• Excellent problem solving skills
• Strong communication skills and self motivator

• Stand, walk, sit for extended periods of time .
• Speak and listen to others in person and over the phone and video conferencing.
• Use keyboard and read from computer screen and reports.
• The ability to lift up to 15 lbs.
