Job Summary This position is responsible for partnering with assigned Account Executive in all aspects of retaining and growing Enterprise National Accounts. Handle work at an independent level to assist with renewal and growth of accounts and servicing of accounts. Responsible for ongoing service strategy and ensuring client satisfaction.

Job Responsibilities

 Retention and Penetration: Partner with Account Executive in order to retain and build account membership and identify cross-sell opportunities.
 Assist in Strategy Development: Maintain understanding of client strategy for assigned program and services and articulate that strategy to internal constituents.
 Service Strategy: Develop and execute internal and external service strategy for assigned program; includes participating in client meetings and identifying program and service enhancement recommendations.
 Relationship Management: Partner with Account Executive in developing and expanding client relationships.
 Implementation: Collaborate with Implementation Consultant for successful account implementation of renewals and off-cycle changes.
 Internal Collaboration: Collaborate with Clinical and Service Delivery Operations and other internal departments to provide a best-in-class behavioral health program
 Reporting: Maintain Salesforce database with account information and facilitate the development of behavioral health program reports to meet client needs and internal requests.
 Account and Opportunity Planning: Partner with Account Executive in preparation of reports and documentation to identify innovative product solutions and cross-selling opportunities.
 Annual Enrollment – Partner with client and attend annual retiree enrollment events both virtually and in-person. Includes presenting at the events, coordinating BCBSTX table and ensuring adequate staff.
 Industry/Marketplace Awareness: Maintain an understanding of HCSC products and services, healthcare reform, competitive landscape, and implications on clients.
 Maintain general agent insurance license.

Required Job Qualifications

 Bachelor's degree and 3 years in healthcare operations handling independent work OR 7 years of experience in healthcare operations handling independent work.
 Possess current state general agent insurance license or obtain general agent insurance license within 90 days of starting in the role.
 Organization/project implementation skills.
 Verbal and written communications skills to work with customer representatives, customers, brokers and across internal departments.
 Knowledge of health insurance products and the industry.
 PC proficiency to include Word, Excel and PowerPoint.
 Analytical skills.
 Ability and willingness to travel, including overnight stays as needed.

Preferred Job Qualifications

 Bachelor's degree.
 Experience servicing accounts and working with brokers.
 Knowledge of salesforce.com or applicable sales database.
