Job Summary This Position Is Responsible For Participating In Sub Audits Or Small Audits Of Financial And Operational Controls Of Various Departments To Assure Compliance With Prescribed Procedures And Policies.

Responsibilities

1.Examines, tests and verifies statistical and accounting data (computer and manual) to verify that transactions are properly and accurately recorded.
2.Assists in the examination, testing and verification of conformance of operating practices to established procedures.
3.Prepares substantiating work papers in accordance with generally accepted audit techniques and departmental guidelines.
4.Compiles data to be used in audits and in analytical studies.
5.Reports all inadequacies and discrepancies in accounting and/or policy and procedure compliance along with suggestions for improvement and proposed adjustment to audit lead.
6.Assists in the preparation of reports detailing findings, conclusions and recommendations to Manager Internal Audit.
7.Conducts special studies as assigned by Manager Internal Audit.
8.Develops and maintains familiarity with accounting principles, laws, regulations and ruling that would relate to the issues under audit.
9.Performs related duties as required.
10.Communicate and interact effectively and professionally with co-workers, management, customers, etc.
11.Comply with HIPAA, Diversity Principles, Corporate Integrity, Compliance Program policies and other applicable corporate and departmental policies.
12.Maintain complete confidentiality of company business.
13.Maintain communication with management regarding development within areas of assigned responsibilities and perform special projects as required or requested.

What Are the Requirements You Must Meet?
*Bachelor's degree in Accounting or Finance or related field with comparable experience
*Graduation date between December 2022 – June 2023
*A minimum GPA of 3.0/4.0
*Accounting, finance, systems analysis (manual systems), word processing, spreadsheet and data base software.
