Education/Experience/Other Skills & Abilities:

- Previous CNC Programmer experience required
- Must be able to speak, read and understand English
- Ability to work from verbal and written instructions
- Operation of small power tools, other hand tools and computerized and high-pressure
What You Do:
- Create and update CNC programs using Mastercam.
- Build and modify 3D models and engineering data in SolidWorks.
- Interpret engineering drawings and convert them into toolpaths and machining strategies.
- Generate detailed setup sheets to support machinists on the shop floor.
- Select tools, speeds, and feeds appropriate for materials and part geometry.
- Simulate toolpaths to verify accuracy and prevent crashes or machining errors.
- Collaborate with machinists to validate programs and resolve machining challenges.
- Optimize programs to improve cycle times, tool life, and part quality.
- Review parts for manufacturability and provide feedback to engineering.
- Maintain organized program files, revision histories, and documentation.
- Work with quality teams to ensure programs meet dimensional and tolerance requirements.
- Perform test runs and adjust programs based on machine behavior or part inspection.
- Support continuous improvement and kaizen initiatives related to machining.
- Communicate with supervisors and operators regarding job priorities and changes.
- Troubleshoot machine, tooling, or programming issues as they arise.
