Position Summary

The purpose of the role is to assist the Finished Goods/Third Party Manufacturing Procurement Team in negotiations, data analysis and supplier risk management.

 

Essential Duties & Responsibilities

· Develop and Execute Plan to consolidate Third Party Manufacturing/Distributed Product Finished Goods tail spend.

-    Data Mine TPM/DPFG Spend to identify tail spend suppliers

-    Work with TPM/ DPFG Sourcing to confirm suppliers targeted for exit

-    Communicate with key stakeholders – Marketing, Quality, Engineering, Purchasing on plan to consolidate/exit

-    Execute plan with support from TPM/ DPFG Category Managers

 

·  Program Manage Yearly Spend Negotiations with TPM/ DPFG Suppliers

-    Develop Spend Data on key/critical suppliers

-    Support Category Managers on the development of their supplier negotiation strategy

-    Participate in negotiations providing data, managing the negotiations outcome

-    Ensure project ideas from each negotiation are logged and followed up

 

· Risk Management Support

-    Review Business Interruption Surveys for Trends

-    Develop Supplier Action Plan/RAIL (Rolling Action Item List)

-    Work with Category Managers and Suppliers on RAIL

 

Knowledge & Skills

·       Strong Experience with MS Office Excel (pivot tables, data analysis)

·       Ability to spot trends in data

·       Strong Communication skills

 

Minimum Qualifications, Education & Experience

·       Must be at least 18 years of age

·       High School Diploma required

·       Supply Chain major preferred

·       Position requires active and current compliance with designated training requirements

 

Work Environment

·       This is largely a sedentary role.

·       This job operates in a professional office environment and uses standard office equipment.

 

Travel Requirements

·       No travel anticipated for this role

 

 This role is based remotely; the incumbent may be remote in any state other than Colorado; California; Connecticut; Montana, Maine or New York.
