Position Overview: The Interim Production Supervisor plays a key role in managing the workflow of their team by assigning tasks, supporting staff, monitoring results, and reporting to senior management. They contribute to the efficiency of their department by reviewing and improving processes and setting targets for their teams. The Interim Production Supervisor is also responsible for coaching, resolving issues, and serving as a link between subordinates and upper management.


 


Location: On-Site, Fort Worth, TX 


 


Work Schedule: Monday & Thursday 8:00AM - 6:30PM; Friday, Saturday and Sunday 8:00AM - 8:30PM 


 


Competitive Compensation: $68,000 - $75,000


 


Key Responsibilities: 



  • Follows established operational procedures for activities such as verification of incoming and outgoing shipments, handling, and disposition of materials, and keeping warehouse inventory current.

  • Primarily responsible for ensuring training is completed (OSHA equipment, compliance, etc.) and records are maintained for a variety of needs including OSHA, customer, and other audits.

  • Manages key operational requirements within budget and according to customers’ requirements.

  • Meets or exceeds customer satisfaction through a strong understanding of customer expectations.

  • Addresses and helps resolve customer complaints both verbally and in writing, directly and indirectly

  • Sets goals for performance and deadlines in ways that comply with company plans and vision and communicate them to subordinates.

  • Completes operations by developing schedules, assigning and monitoring work, gathering resources, implementing productivity standards, resolving operations problems, maintaining reference manuals, and implementing new procedures.

  • Monitor employee productivity and provide constructive feedback and coaching.

  • Assess and provide timely resolution of customer’s complaints

  • Maintain timekeeping and personnel records by inputting payroll data (hours, comments) for hourly direct reports daily and approving weekly.

  • Ensure adherence to legal and company policies and procedures and undertake disciplinary actions if the need arises.

  • Maintains a safe and healthy work environment by establishing and enforcing organization standards and adhering to legal regulations.

  • Capable of managing workplace accidents, including injury response, collecting witness statements, reporting, and conducting investigations.

  • Follow corporate and site-specific Good Manufacturing Practices and report noncompliance when observed.

  • Observe all company safety rules and assist in enforcement as appropriate.

  • Successfully and effectively manage 20-30 associates.

  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Knowledge of ADP, Microsoft Excel and LMxT systems.
