What are we looking for?
The Level II Eddy Current Technician will support the Industry Services business by performing assigned inspection activities to ensure that an object, material, or system complies with applicable codes, standards, and specific job requirements. We're looking for an experienced Technician for field set up and calibration of equipment, with the ability to perform the required inspections in accordance with Intertek applicable procedures. Additional NDT certifications and experience are a plus, in this role!
Shift/Schedule: 8 AM to 5 PM, local time, with occasional overtime, plus travel at times...
Salary & Benefits Information
The base wage or salary range for this position is $40.00 to $ 45.00 per hour. Individual compensation packages are based on a variety of factors unique to each candidate including skill set, experience, qualifications, and other job-related reasons.

What you'll do:
- Perform ET Inspections at a client facility
- Perform Tubing ET, and various Surface ET examinations as required
- Set up and calibrate equipment with respect to applicable Intertek procedures
- Should be thoroughly familiar with the scope and limitations of the methods for which qualified and shall exercise assigned responsibility for on-the-job training and guidance of assigned trainees and NDT Level I personnel.
- Interface with clients on technical matters involving NDE procedures and capabilities
- Provide a professional appearance when interfacing with clients and other coworkers
- Apply examination criteria in accordance with the Intertek ET Level III specifications and procedures on the provided job scopes
- Assist the Intertek Level III in planning and execution of ET projects
- Maintain ET equipment in good working order, calibration intervals, and continuous ET inventory up to date
- Maintain open lines of communication with coworkers, clients, and subcontractors

Minimum Requirements & Qualifications:
- Minimum of 5 years' experience in NDT inspection
- Valid driver's license and reliable driving record (required)
- Ability and willingness to submit to, and pass Intertek's pre-employment clinical screenings
- Ability to provide clear and technical guidance to other technicians and subcontractors
- Ability to solve technical issues in the field
- Ability to work independently with minimal supervision
- Must possess good written and verbal communication skills
- Computer skills, especially various ET acquisition software and MS Office applications
Preferred Requirements & Qualifications
- Prior Level II certification in ECT. ACFM, PEC, and RFT preferred
