Description

At JDA TSG, we equip many of the world's major brands with top-tier specialized talent, business process expertise and technologies to drive their organizations in exciting new directions. What makes us the partner of choice for the most experience-obsessed brands worldwide? We apply extensive due diligence up front to ensure that our teams and talent will be a cultural fit and can make a difference from the very start. And we've established a reputation for bringing exceptional focus, flexibility, and confidence with every client we serve.

We are seeking a skilled ESG (Environmental, Social, and Governance) Consultant to join our team. The ESG Consultant will play a critical role in helping our organization navigate the complexities of sustainability, particularly in the context of our partnership with our Vendor company and their Supplier Emissions Reduction Program (SERP).

This is a contract position working remotely in the U.S. (required) which should run 2-3 months.

Salary Range: $40 - $60/hr based on experience

Key Responsibilities:

  1. Assessment and Strategy Development: Conduct thorough assessments of our company's current ESG practices, including emissions footprint, sustainability efforts, and alignment with global standards such as the Science-Based Targets Initiative (SBTi). Develop comprehensive strategies to improve our ESG performance and meet Intuit's emissions reduction targets.
  2. Collaboration with Vendor: Serve as the primary liaison between our company and our Vendor's Supplier Diversity and Sustainability team. Engage in ongoing collaboration to ensure alignment with their goals and objectives. Participate in meetings, workshops, and information sessions related to the SERP.
  3. Implementation Support: Provide guidance and support to internal teams as they implement sustainability initiatives and integrate ESG considerations into decision-making processes. Offer expertise on best practices, tools, and resources available through Intuit and other relevant partners.
  4. Stakeholder Engagement: Engage with key stakeholders, including senior leadership, employees, suppliers, and external partners, to promote awareness of our sustainability efforts and foster a culture of environmental responsibility. Communicate progress, successes, and challenges related to our ESG initiatives.
  5. Reporting and Monitoring: Develop robust reporting mechanisms to track and measure our ESG performance over time. Monitor key metrics, analyze trends, and prepare regular reports for internal and external stakeholders. Ensure compliance with reporting requirements outlined by Intuit and other relevant entities.

Requirements:
  • Bachelor's degree in Environmental Science, Sustainability, Business Administration, or a related field. Advanced degree or professional certifications (e.g., CSR-P, GRI) preferred.
  • Minimum of 3-5 years of experience in ESG consulting, sustainability management, or related roles.
  • Strong understanding of environmental issues, climate change mitigation strategies, and sustainability frameworks (e.g., GRI Standards, TCFD).
  • Familiarity with science-based emissions targets and experience working with platforms such as Watershed or similar climate management tools.
  • Excellent analytical skills and ability to translate data into actionable insights and recommendations.
  • Effective communication and interpersonal skills, with experience in stakeholder engagement and relationship management.
  • Proven track record of project management, including the ability to prioritize tasks, meet deadlines, and drive results in a fast-paced environment.
  • Commitment to continuous learning and staying updated on emerging trends and best practices in ESG/sustainability.
