Description
The Stepping Stones Group is seeking a Licensed Vocational Nurse (LVN) for a contracted, school-based placement in Montebello, CA for the 26/27 school year! This is a full-time private duty/1:1 role supporting a local K-12 district with nursing services.

MINIMUM REQUIREMENTS
- Active LVN License in CA
- Current BLS certification
- Pediatric Experience Required
- Ability to safely implement physician orders and care plans within LVN scope of practice
- Must have a driver's license and reliable transportation
- Must be flexible to travel to various school sites throughout the district
- School-based experience strongly preferred
WHAT YOU'LL DO
- Maintain continuous observation of assigned student throughout the school day.
- Support chronic condition management and assist with medical procedures as outlined in care plans
- Provide first aid and medication administration
- Will be expected to float to other school sites if their assigned case is out sick - flexibility with location and case assignment is a must
- Document care and communicate with school teams
- Accompany student during transportation and community-based activities when assigned
- Report significant status changes to supervising RN and family
