Description

The Unit Secretary performs clinical and communication functions on assigned nursing unit. She/He provides courteous reception on the nursing unit and arranges and coordinates activities for patient care.


Minimum Education: High School or equivalent Minimum Skills: Ability to communicate effectively in English both verbally and in writing. Demonstrate excellent customer service behavior. Proficient computer skills in Microsoft Word as well as Internet access and utilization. Knowledge of Medical Terminology. Appropriate Telephone Skills.
