KELLY has partnered with a global leader in beverage manufacturing who produces a wide range of drinks for national and international retailers and brands and we're looking for a skilled Electrician to support our fast-paced production environment.
Position OverviewThe Electrician will be responsible for maintaining, repairing, and troubleshooting electrical systems and equipment in a fast-paced manufacturing setting. This role is essential to ensuring production uptime, safety, and compliance with food quality standards.
Key Responsibilities- Adhere to all health, safety, GMP, and food safety policies.
- Wear required PPE in production and warehouse areas.
- Perform preventive and proactive maintenance to avoid equipment breakdowns.
- Use root-cause analysis to investigate and resolve line stoppages.
- Respond quickly to production line issues using electrical and mechanical skills.
- Prioritize and complete maintenance tasks using CMMS documentation.
- Inspect, repair, and maintain industrial machinery and equipment.
- Diagnose malfunctions using voltmeters and other testing devices.
- Operate repaired equipment to verify functionality.
- Analyze test results and operator feedback to identify equipment problems.
- Ensure machines meet operational and safety standards.
- Support food safety and quality programs.
- Perform other duties as assigned.
- Ability to read and interpret safety and maintenance documentation.
- Strong math skills (whole numbers, fractions, decimals).
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Outlook, Word, Excel).
- Flexibility to work alternate hours as needed.
- Decisive, proactive, and self-motivated.
- Strong interpersonal and communication skills.
- Analytical mindset with ability to identify trends.
- Customer-focused and adaptable to changing demands.
- Independent problem solver with initiative.
- Minimum 4 years of experience in industrial manufacturing maintenance.
- Electrical/electronic troubleshooting and repair skills required.
- Must pass a Mechanical/Electrical Skills and Aptitude Assessment.
- Continuous standing or walking; moderate lifting required.
- Repetitive work environment with moderate sensory attention.
- High mental stress due to deadlines and production demands.
- Exposure to hot and cold temperatures depending on season.
- Minimal travel may be required for training.
