3rd Shift Welding Supervisor
Location: Durant, Mississippi
Shift: Sunday–Thursday, 10:00 PM – 6:00 AM
Salary: $90,000–$100,000+ annually
 

Join Kelly Services in Durant, MS as a Welding Supervisor on our 3rd shift team! We're seeking a dynamic leader with strong welding expertise and a passion for safety, quality, and team development.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Supervise and coordinate welding operations and personnel.
  • Promote and enforce safety standards across the facility.
  • Conduct incident investigations and maintain documentation.
  • Monitor productivity and ensure alignment with performance goals.
  • Manage equipment maintenance and availability.
  • Oversee welders, machine operators, and material handlers.
  • Interpret blueprints and job orders; assign tasks accordingly.
  • Plan material flow and production schedules.
  • Support fume control and equipment adjustments.
  • Maintain production records and support continuous improvement initiatives.
  • Assist with hiring and training efforts.
  • Contribute to cost control and efficiency improvements.
Qualifications:
  • Associate or bachelor's degree in engineering or related field preferred.
  • Minimum 5 years of supervisory experience in manufacturing.
  • AWS Certified Welder (required).
  • Proficient in MIG welding (mild and stainless steel).
  • Strong mechanical aptitude and leadership skills.
  • Familiarity with ISO 9000 standards and Lean Manufacturing.
  • Proficient in MS Office Suite.
  • Ability to interpret technical drawings and solve practical problems.
