Temporary Accounting Manager – Hybrid (Torrance, CA)

Pay Rate: $65.00–$73.00/hour | Duration assignment: March 2026 – July 2026

Working in office Monday-Wednesday/ 8am-5pm

Are you a detail-oriented accounting professional ready to take the lead on month-end and intercompany close processes? Join a dynamic team as a Temporary Accounting Manager, supporting corporate accounting functions and ensuring financial accuracy across US and international operations.

What You'll Do:

  • Lead the monthly close process, including journal entries, account reconciliations, and variance analysis.
  • Review daily cash reporting and monthly bank reconciliations.
  • Manage intercompany close processes and foreign currency revaluation for international subsidiaries.
  • Oversee preparation and review of US-managed foreign financial statements in compliance with GAAP.
  • Prepare consolidated financial statements for review by the Corporate Controller.
  • Coordinate payroll, cash funding, and accruals with non-US subsidiaries and third-party providers.
  • Support year-end audit preparation and respond to audit inquiries.
  • Assist with special projects and reporting to senior leadership, including EBITDA, working capital, and inventory analysis.

Who You Are:

  • Bachelor's Degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field required
  • 5–7 years of relevant accounting experience, including supervisory experience.
  • Expertise in accounting principles, financial reporting, and GAAP compliance.
  • Strong leadership skills with the ability to collaborate across teams and levels.
  • Exceptional analytical, organizational, and communication skills.
  • Proficient in Excel, Word, and corporate accounting software.
  • Manage internal and external deliverables such as Quarterly Lender Reporting, Audit Committee presentations, and Borrowing Base calculations for BOFA lenders.
