One of the leading insurance agencies in Tyler, TX 75701 is looking to add a CUSTOMER SERVICE / SALES ASSISTANT to their team immediately. This is a temporary to permanent position with a schedule of Monday through Friday from 8:30 AM to 5:30 PM (with an hour lunch break). Experience in insurance sales, providing quotes and possibly licensed is highly preferred.
BILINGUAL in English and Spanish is a huge plus. Pay starts at $12 hourly.
Projected pay once hired on with commission is 40K to 52K annually.
- Delivering excellent customer service to all clients
- Providing sales quotes to potential and existing customers
- Upselling services (additional coverage: bundle home and auto, health, life and other financial investments)
- Driven and goal-oriented, once permanent- there will be a commission structure in place (10% - 11% of total sales will be paid out the following month and commission percentage may increase based on sales per agent)
- Answer all inquiries with accurate and researched information
- Follow up on leads and generate more leads from referrals etc.
- Complete forms, documents and perform other additional administrative tasks (filing, data entry, making copies, sending correspondence)
High school diploma or equivalent
Bilingual in English and Spanish is a huge plus
Extensive experience in customer service (commissioned sales background or retail for entry level)
Great, friendly personality and ability to work within a tight knitted / family team
Excellent communication skills
If not licensed, must be able to get a license within a month of employment (study materials and test costs will be reimbursed)
