Administrative Assistant I – MUST BE BILINGUAL
Position Title: CBT Lab Proctor (Administrative Assistant I)
Location: Beaumont TX
Hours: Variable shifts between 6:15 AM – 5:00 PM (Shifts stagger and rotate weekly; examples include 6:15 AM – 2:45 PM and 7:15 AM – 3:45 PM)
The CBT Lab Proctor is responsible for supporting and delivering multimedia or conventional training modules in a classroom setting. This role requires bilingual proficiency, adaptability to rotating schedules, and occasional travel.
Essential Duties & Responsibilities:- Monitor classroom training, both multimedia and conventional.
- Remove students for dishonest or disruptive conduct.
- Assist training technicians during on-site training as needed.
- Support students using computer equipment (mouse, keyboard), and provide multimedia course instructions.
- Answer basic student questions, solve minor computer problems, report larger issues to technical support.
- Maintain cleanliness and organization of equipment and workstations.
- Turn on workstations at the beginning of the day & shut down at closing.
- Enter new students into databases, retrieve, and verify test scores upon course completion.
- Follow all ISTC policies and procedures related to training integrity.
- Perform other duties as assigned.
- Must be bilingual (specify languages required/preferred).
- High school diploma or 3 years of related experience/training or equivalent combination of education and experience.
- Basic computer skills preferred.
- Ability to read, analyze, and interpret safety rules, operating and maintenance instructions, and procedure manuals.
- Capable of writing routine reports and correspondence.
- Comfortable speaking effectively before groups of customers or employees.
- Ability to solve practical problems and work with a variety of concrete variables where only limited standardization exists.
- Able to interpret instructions furnished in written, oral, diagram, or schedule form.
