Work Setup: Onsite

Manufacture a variety of composite aircraft parts to meet manufacturing specifications in a team-oriented production environment.

Perform composite part manufacturing functions such as lay-up, cutting, bagging, autoclave processing, trimming, and/or repair.

Read work orders, blueprints, lofts, sketches, and operation sheets to determine sequence of operations.

Work with composite resins and materials following strict quality and safety standards.

Use specialized tools and precision measuring equipment including 6" scale, 1" micrometer, and 6" dial caliper.

Inspect completed work to ensure defect-free assemblies prior to inspection.

Maintain required logs and records (MIR sheets, DMTs, Crabs, PCOs, DR/DI, etc.).

Support Lean initiatives, FOD prevention, and 5S programs.

Maintain a clean, safe, and organized work area.

Perform other duties as assigned.

High School Diploma or GED (required).
-
Two (2) years of related composite manufacturing experience.
-
Experience working with composite resins and aerospace-grade materials.
-
Ability to read and interpret blueprints and accurately read a 6" scale.

Experience operating forklifts and overhead cranes.
-
Valid Driver's License.

Basic computer skills.
-
Ability to read, write, speak, and understand the English language.

Ability to meet physical requirements of the position and work any shift.
