Air Export Agent
Location: DFW Airport, TX
Pay: $20.00–$24.00 per hour, depending on experience
Schedule: 8:30 AM–5:00 PM or 9:00 AM–5:30 PM
Employment Type: Temp-to-Hire

Our client, a global leader in freight forwarding and international logistics, is seeking a reliable and detail-oriented Air Export Agent to join their team at DFW Airport. This position offers the opportunity to work with a company known for operational excellence and global presence in air freight.

What You'll Be Doing:
As an Air Export Agent, you'll coordinate and manage international air shipments from start to finish. Key responsibilities include:

  • Preparing air export documentation, including air waybills, commercial invoices, SLIs, and AES filings
  • Booking cargo space with airlines and coordinating pickups with truckers
  • Monitoring flight schedules and shipment progress
  • Ensuring all shipments comply with U.S. Customs and international export regulations
  • Providing clients with timely shipment updates and resolving any issues or delays
  • Submitting RFQs and quotes and supporting pricing strategy
  • Processing billing and ensuring invoice accuracy
  • Inspecting outgoing freight and ensuring it is ready for transport

Why You'd Be a Great Fit:

  • 1–2 years of air export or freight forwarding experience preferred
  • Strong attention to detail and accuracy in documentation
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Excel, Word, Outlook)
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills
  • Comfortable working in a fast-paced environment with time-sensitive shipments
  • Must be authorized to work in the United States
  • Weekend availability as needed
