This Analyst role is crucial in assisting the sales team by collecting data and analyzing market sales trends to identify opportunities and risks for brand growth. You will generate informative reports and oversee information distribution across various channels and departments. As part of the Sales Operations Team, you'll follow the mantra "Data -> Insight -> Action," focusing on advancing the Eastpak and JanSport brands. Reporting to the Sales Operations Manager (Americas Packs), this hybrid position involves working 3 days a week at our Jersey City, New Jersey headquarters and 2 days from home.
 
Day-to-Day Responsibilities:

  • Provide detailed reporting to drive incremental sales, including Sell Thru reports for US Wholesale.
  •  Develop innovative methods to track and report selling trends and market intelligence.
  •  Establish consistent best practices and offer tailored support to the Sales Team with enriched content through detailed analysis.
  • Create comprehensive reports for the Sales team to aid strategic business decisions.
  • Develop intuitive dashboards to empower key stakeholders.
  • Gather data from wholesale partners, ensuring accuracy and regular updating.
  • Work seamlessly with colleagues across departments to achieve shared objectives.
 
What You Need to Succeed:
Ideal Candidate:
  • Embody curiosity, intelligence, and meticulous attention to detail, with strong sales operations knowledge.
  •  Outstanding organizational abilities and a knack for numbers.
  • Effective communication in written, oral, and non-verbal forms.
  • Skill in using data to support narrative storytelling.
  • Exceptional problem-solving and collaborative talents with creative thinking.
  • Eagerness to learn and master new processes and contribute to best practices.
 
Qualifications:
  • Education: Bachelor's degree in accounting, business analytics, mathematics, or a related field. Alternatively, 5+ years of experience with Sales Operations support.
  • Skills:
    • Proficient in the MS Office Suite (Word, PowerPoint, Excel).
    • Preferred experience with Power BI and IBM Cognos.
    • Familiarity with POS data, SPS Commerce, and SAP reporting is beneficial.
