Job Title: Assembly Manufacturing Engineer
Location: Davenport, IA
Assignment Length: 12 Months (As a W2 employee of KellyOCG)
Pay Rate: $43.50 per hour
Shift Information: 1st Shift, 6:00 AM – 2:30 PM. Overtime available as requested (5–8 hours/week).

Position Overview:
As an OFP Assembly Manufacturing Engineer at JD Davenport Works, you will support the Loader Cab assembly line. You will work collaboratively with cross-functional teams and provide technical leadership on process improvements, project execution, layout design, and troubleshooting.
Primary Responsibilities:
Work with cross-functional teams to identify and implement continuous improvement projects focused on safety, quality, delivery, and cost
Lead and manage small to moderate scope capital projects
Establish and maintain layouts, labor standards, methods, and sequence of events for assembly operations
Analyze, develop, and implement new manufacturing processes and technologies
Provide support and troubleshooting for current assembly operations
Identify and implement cost reduction, quality, safety, and ergonomic improvements for loader cab assembly operations
Required Skills & Experience:
1 or more years of experience with manufacturing processes, quality, tooling, preventative maintenance, and facilities
Experience using engineering tools and manufacturing execution systems
Experience leading and implementing projects in a fast-paced manufacturing environment
Strong communication skills with operators, peers, and leadership
Self-motivated and able to execute with minimal supervision
Strong personal accountability, follow-through, and ability to foster a positive, engaged team environment
Education:
Bachelor's degree in engineering or technology discipline (Industrial, Mechanical, Manufacturing, Electrical engineering preferred), or equivalent related work experience
