Assembly Worker
JOB SUMMARY:
- Performs tasks to assemble and install material kits, according to customer specification.
- Works with and accounts for assigned hand tools.
- Observes all standard safety practices.
ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Read and execute build requirements from approved prints and other work instructions.
- Operate any and all equipment, instrumentation, machines and tools to perform all duties and responsibilities.
- Performs accurate measurement of facility product line components and assemblies.
- Elevate safety, quality, and manufacturing issues to supervisor in a timely manner Perform in-process inspections.
- Work assignments carried out to the highest quality level
- Maintain a clean and safe environment
- Perform various other duties and activities as assigned by supervisor within the physical constrains of the job.
PHYSICAL DEMANDS: Must be able to lift up to 30 pounds occasionally, stand for the entire shift, bend, squat, twist and turn.
WORK ENVIRONMENT:
- The employee in this role will be working indoors, in an industrial manufacturing environment.
- The employee will regularly be exposed to noise levels requiring hearing protection, moving equipment and mechanical parts.
- The work environment characteristics described here are representative of those an employee encounters while performing the essential functions of this job.
MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS:
Experience:
- Stable work history
- Strong mechanical aptitude
- Must be able to perform repetitive tasks using standard hand tools
Licensures and Certifications: None
Education: High School Diploma or equivalent
