Kelly Science & Clinical has a new, permanent opportunity for an Associate Development Scientist in Louisville, KY!

Shift: M-F 8:00am-5:00pm with flexibility
A Direct Hire Opportunity

Principal Responsibilities:

  • Plan, execute, and manage color development projects from benchtop to commercialization.
  • Support innovation projects by planning and executing assigned tasks.
  • Develop new or modify existing colors through formulation, raw materials, processing, and technologies.
  • Coordinate evaluation of new products and collaborate with application teams.
  • Develop analytical methods and operate pilot trials for scale-up and small orders.
  • Support manufacturing plants, procurement projects, and regulatory compliance.
  • Maintain lab equipment, uphold safety standards, and ensure compliance with protocols.
  • Actively participate in Quality Improvement initiatives and utilize company resources responsibly.
  • Perform other assigned duties.
Qualifications:
  • Bachelor's Degree + 2 years related experience or Master's degree.
  • Strong laboratory experimental skills and knowledge of analytical techniques.
  • Technical proficiency in specialty area and ability to plan and execute technical projects.
  • Proficient in operating, maintaining, and organizing lab equipment.
  • Effective observation and documentation of experimental results.
  • High standards for laboratory safety, protocols, and Good Laboratory Practices.
  • Excellent oral and written communication skills.
  • Collaborative team player with strong computer and data management skills.
  • Demonstrated ability to quickly absorb new processes and knowledge.
  • Must be willing to travel nationally at least 20%
